The Chick-Autz had a brief drinking session last night. Most of us ordered Red Horse though I want to have Strong Ice, unfortunately it’s not available. Incidentally or intentionally (for my friends already know what happy horse is) I picked up a bottle of happy horse in the second round. Since we’re the most distant to the beers, me and my other friend were that last ones to get a bottle… and the happy horse landed in front of me. Then they began uttering "happy horse" to me. Silly me, I don’t know what it is. Looking closer to the bottle, the horse seems to be smiling in the label and prints in the bottle which is supposed to be white in Red Horse are slightly red in color. I even thought it was fake. They told me that in every case of Red Horse, there’s one happy horse. They also said that happy horse is stronger than the regular Red Horse. That was fun somehow, drinking this already strong beer that is stronger.
Adding to my CD collection is Incubus’ Light Grenades. I bought the album because I love the songs there but it looks like it’s not popular here. Maybe because "Charing na-inlove na si Bondying" LOL and alike are the ones hitting the charts here. Luckily, the CD is on sale and it only costs 299 pesos… almost nearing the price of a local record. I’ve been liking Incubus for years now but this is my first time to get their CD. I don’t know why but in other artists, I have their third album already.
A while ago, I’m on my way to Lipa to attend my class. When I’m about to leave the town proper of Padre Garcia, I noticed this pickup in front of me. Upon reaching the halfway of Brgy. San Felipe, this pickup tried to overtake an owner-type jeep. However, this jeep swerved to the direction of the overtaking pickup making the pickup spin a bit and slide towards a post or a gate (I’m not sure since I’m driving). I think the pickup tried to turn left away from the jeep, braked hard then turn back to the right to keep in control but it resulted to the crash. At first I though the pickup was simply postioned at the side of the road umharmed but when I passed by, the fender and other parts were damaged. I also see water gushing out of the engine’s vent. I’m not sure if the driver is harmed. I just continued driving until I saw the jeep now at my front. When I reached the boundary of Padre Garcia and Lipa, I saw the jeep stopped, seems like there’s a guilt on part of the driver.
After seeing that accident, I felt the same as when I’m just learning how to drive but that didn’t stop me to speed up to 70 kph since I’m already late in my class. I just see to it that I’m speeding only when it’s safe. Also, the flashback only lasts for a while. Besides I don’t need to be scared in driving because it might cause more trouble.
The Sandiganbayan has spoken, former President Joseph Estrada is guilty of plunder. He’s to suffer reclusion perpetua as punishment and confiscated his accounts with the total of around $15 million. For me, the decision was right. It’s even surprising in my own opinion that only few are being charged of corruption. We have shown the world how we wanted to get rid of anomalies in our government.
Of course there will be some who will protest the court’s verdict, I can say it’s alright. It is just annoying that reasons of other people are nonesense. There were those who were marching on the streets without even knowing what plunder means. The only thing they have in mind is that the movie star turned president is their idol and their only hope against poverty. If only they knew how corruption affects the lives of the Filipinos especially the poor. It’s really easy for our leaders to steal from our funds if this is how we think. It is scary that corruption is still being neglected though it is a very serious problem in our country. It’s also funny that the anti-Arroyos want Estrada to be freed. My question is, does it really mean that if they are against Arroyo, automatically they’ll support Estrada? If I’m not mistaken, some of them were shouting Erap resign before. It’s like we’re just running in circles. It is evident that Filipinos forget easily. BTW, I’m against Gloria, as far as her legitimacy is concerned since the 2004 national elections. But no more of Erap, we need to find another contender.
It has been decided, though Estrada can still appeal up to the Supreme Court. But after this, what’s next? Can we also seek justice on others who also committed crime but were just clever enough to hide? We need more transparency because it is very hard or impossible to charge corrupt officials with the current system in our government.
My previous posts are about Bleach anime/manga. You might be asking what the hell is Bleach? Intially it is a story of a young boy named Ichigo Kurosaki and his friends Chad Sado, Uryu Ishida, Inoue Orihime, and Rukia Kuchiki (as shown in the picture, Ichigo is the orange-haired guy followed by the others in clockwise direction). The adventure begins when Ichigo met Rukia, a Shinigami, which should not be the case because humans cannot see spirits including Shinigamis but Ichigo is exempted for he has the ability to see them. The duties of a Shinigami are to send Pluses (spirits) to Soul Society and to cleanse Hollows (evil spirit) by defeating them. When Rukia was injured battling the Hollow, she was left no choice but to pass half of her power to Ichigo but with his unusual strength, Ichigo absorbed almost all of Rukia’s powers making him a substitute shinigami.
Shinigamis are armed with Zanpakutou or the soul slayer which has unique powers depending on the user but they are not exclusive in swordfighting since they also have spells called kido which can be destructive or used in restraining purposes. Most Zanpakutous look like any ordinary sword but skilled users can give commands on them to have a new look and more power… it is called shikai, the initial release of the soul slayer. While Shinigami with hundred years of combat experience can have the ultimate power by achieving bankai, the final release of a Zanpakutou that also varies in every Shinigami using it. When activating shikai, every user gives different commands depending on the power of the sword like awaken, shatter, snap, scatter, roar, grow, bloom, shine, dance, etc. Bankai on the other hand is released by simply shouting bankai, where the excitement arises and makes the word popular because a big fight is to be expected especially if all involved in the fight scene will use it. When shikai or bankai is no longer needed, the soul slayer is sealed to bring it back to its normal form. In case of Ichigo, his Zanpakutou is always in shikai.
These are only the basics of the series. I’ve already explained what is Gotei 13, another feature of Bleach, in my previous post. The gang also faces groups like the Bount — born from a mistake by the Soul Society which is partly from Shinigamis so Bounts possess dolls similar to their Zanpakotou’s characteristics, the Vizards — Shinigamis who attempt to have Hollow powers (just imagine Shinigami with a mask), and the Arrancar — Hollows who remove their mask to obtain Shinigami powers (Hollow with a Zanpakotou). Quite interesting, huh?
It’s not clear to me why the title of the series is Bleach. Some says it’s because Ichigo’s hair is bleached. Other says it means cleansing of souls. But whatever it is, it still kicks ass! Bleach anime is currently airing here in the Philippines at GMA 7.
Gotei 13 is the 13 squads of the Shinigamis in the manga/anime series Bleach. Each division is headed by a Captain, then a Vice-Captain/Lieutenant, and Seated Officers. The Captain of the 1st Squad is also the General of the Gotei 13. The Shinigamis are those who are in kimono armed with a sword (like the guys in Samurai X but the thing is, they all wear black) while their Captains wear an extra white dress with a unique diamond printed at the back that symbolizes Gotei 13. Inside the diamond is the number indicating what squad they belong. This playlist is a compilation of all the Bleach ending 3. There is version for every division of the Gotei 13, a good thing to familiarize every personalities of each squad.
For me, the cutest character in the manga/anime series Bleach and also deadly for she is the Vice-Captain of the 11th Division of Gotei 13. Being small, she is often seen on the shoulder of her Captain or on the head/face of other shinigamis, LOL! She’s also fond of giving others strange nicknames. Kung magkaka-anak ako gusto ko kasing cute ni Yachiru. ^_^

Pilipino Funny Komiks is a local comics for children that is not only entertaining but also educational. It can also be enjoyed by the adults because of the satires associated in some strips. It is published every week by Islas Filipinas Publishing Co. Inc.
Funny Komiks became part of my childhood life. Every week, I used to have new issue of the comics beside me when I wake up in bed. My comics is bought along with the daily newspaper early in the morning. I’ve read that prices of the comics were P3.50, P5, P7, P9, and P17.50. I think I started buying Funny Komiks when it was 5 pesos up to 9 pesos. It is when I’m just beginning how to read when I started collecting Funny Komiks. It enhances my reading skills. It also inspires me how to draw. I even submit my drawings because they allow kids to send artworks and then they’ll published it. It was through snail mail, if only there’s internet back then. After weeks of waiting, finally it was published. Printed in small size, my artwork is posted along with the others. There are lots of kids who are interested to submit that’s why it’s published that small but it’s enough for me during that time that my drawing is there with my name on it. Funny Komiks also tickles my mind with its interesting trivias and exciting brain teasers.
Funny Komiks consists of different comic strips in series or episodic. One of my favorites is the story of Combatron, a Megaman look-alike superhero Pinoy style. Although it is noted as the Pinoy Megaman, it is very creative in all aspects. I’m so lucky to find a scan of a Funny Komiks issue with Combatron in cover. My other favorites were Eklok, Pitit, Tomas en Kulas (local Tom & Jerry), Mr. & Mrs., Planet op d Eyps, Super Blag, Viktar Istarkidd, and Tinay Pinay.
I lost my interest in Funny Komiks when something has been changed but I have no idea what it is. I also started to get addicted to PlayStation that time. My collections were stored in a box but then cockroaches began to infest them. But, even if those pesky bastards destroyed and crapped my Funny Komiks, it will remain in my heart and in my mind always. Today, I realized that I’m so fortunate that at my very young age I had this such experience. I’ve heard that Funny Komiks stopped circulating in the late 90’s.
It seems I’m not yet ready for any responsibilities. I’m just beginning to realize what life really is. I’ve never enjoyed my life before, It’s only now that I plan to make a move. It’s like I died when I was just a young boy and enjoying my childhood, then God was so good that He brings me back to life. I felt like I’m a plant before, who does nothing but just to be alive everyday. Today at 21, I’ll begin to live my teenage life.
There are lots of things that stop me before. My angst and pains are some of the most bloody ones. It’s very difficult because my enemy here is myself. I also think that I’m the most unfortunate man in the world. I believe in sayings like "It is you who make your fate." or "Nasa Diyos ang awa, nasa tao ang gawa." and alike but I have no idea why things has to be this so luckless for me to the extent that I cannot live my life anymore. It made me hate everything even my stupid hair that sucks, no matter if it’s long or short. I did everything I can do and the only thing I have in mind now is to spend money just to make it look good. It proves that sometimes there are problems that only money can solve.
I also don’t believe in karma… for me, it’s not working. There are still those bastards out there without conscience that are living their lives to the fullest. On the other hand, I’ve been thinking that God loves me very much to give me problems that all of His attention is on me. Jesus said in South Park (yeah not in the Bible so don’t take it seriously) "If God answered all our prayers, there’d be nothing left for us to do ourselves. Life is about problems, and overcoming those problems, and growing and learning from obstacles. If God just fixed everything for us, then there’d be no point in our existence." so It’s possible that those ass holes are making the time of their lives right now but in the end, someone will pay.
I’m not getting any younger, I feel like I’m delayed in many things… so I need to do things in a rush. I need NOS, I need NOS.

NORTH KOREA – The world thought that North Korea didn’t have the nuclear firepower to hit Japan let alone the moon. They were wrong.
At approximately 11:20 P.M. EST North Korea changed the world forever. Using an advanced space missile that the world has yet to even wrap their mind around, the North Koreans showed of their firepower to the world by hitting the moon.
The launch point of the missile remains unknown although an anonymous source says the government thinks it is Nampo, North Korea.
Preliminary estimates put the explosive power of the nuclear bomb at 10,000 that of the one dropped on Hiroshima.
“This has been the most powerful bomb exploded to date,” stated nuclear weapons expert Noah Cain, “and capable of destroying the entire state of Rhode Island.”
As of 11:30 PM EST the Bush Administration was not available for comment on the explosion, although Jeckma Uji, an aide to the President says the government is still waiting for a response from North Korea.
John Canterbury, a resident of Los Angeles, California, was reported saying, “I was looking at the moon through my telescope when suddenly a huge fiery cloud appeared. I ran inside to pray thinking the world was going to end.”
Experts are saying that the amount of debris and radiation that will reach earth as a result of the explosion will be minimal. However, long term effect of the explosion are yet unknown. Many scientists are saying that the bomb, regardless of its size was unable to change the moons orbit.
An anonymous scientists, however, is expressing his concerns stating, “it [the bomb] could have altered the moon’s orbit by a fraction of an inch which over the course of a couple centuries might cause the moon to crash into Earth.”
It is unknown whether North Korea has a second missile with similar capabilities and how the world will respond if it does.

Pyongyang North Korea - Kim Jong Il said his reason for trying to destroy the moon was to show off North Korea ’s fearsome military strength. He boasted that with his nuclear weapons and interstellar firing capability, he has the ability to destroy the world.
Kim Jong Il demanded that his country be given control over the United States and for South Korea to be firebombed. “Great Leader” said his country’s democratic changes to the world will create a very happy world.
North Korea says it’s response to any attack on it’s soil will be to immediately respond with it’s full nuclear arsenal which they claim to have 400 more nukes of. They did not say how many more nukes they have that can go to the moon.
The U.S. has said it will not give in to threats and demands that North Korea disarm all of it’s military completely. If they do not obey these commands then military action will be taken against it with civilian targets not being the main target. If all North Koreans are drafted, the white house says it has no choice but to attack anybody trying to defend the country.
Buddhists and the rest of the world are mad at North Korea ’s destruction of the moon. NASA and other space agencies are worried more pieces or even the rest of the moon could fall out of orbit and hit Earth. The United Nations is currently in a meeting to discuss any military or diplomatic response to this.
So far, no pieces of the moon have hit land or caused any known casualty. Diplomats around East Asia have been reported moving far away and all flights and roads out of South Korea are full. It is not clear if there will be any international aid given to people trying to get away from the immediate danger zones to North Korea’s nukes.

Washington DC - At 12:30AM EST – After the stunning events two weeks ago, the world awoke to even more dramatic news. Simply put, the moon has fallen onto Earth and into the Pacific Ocean.
Approximately two weeks after North Korea’s unparalleled missile hit the moon, the moon passed through the Earth’s atmosphere and landed, luckily to many, on the Pacific Ocean.
Chief NASA spokesperson, Neil Borkienmeg had this to say on this stunning revelation, “So far through our observations we can confirm that the moon, or rather a piece of it has landed on to the surface of the Pacific Ocean.”
This creates a lot of problems to the already stunned world, as the majority of the world’s fishing industry lies in the Pacific Ocean, and people expect the fish inventory to get reduced dramatically.
With the fall of the fishing industry, the rise of real estate has captured the world’s attention as nations small and big debate the size of the share of the “moon” they get.
No scientist expected this, not even one of the most radical ones at NASA, Jason Zito, who had this to say on this matter, “Never in my life would I have thought this would have happened, even after North Korea hit the moon with their missile, I guess we should be glad that the moon didn’t hit land.”
If North Korea’s goal was to shake up the world power, while creating widespread chaos, they have met their goal, but even they couldn’t imagined that the moon would be in the ocean next to them.

Washington DC - At 12:30AM EST President George W. Bush responded to North Korea’s missile on the moon. The speech was made from an underground bunker in an undisclosed location so as to increase the President’s protection.
The missile, which exploded on the moon, was visible to North America and parts Western Europe.
Within the speech President Bush explicitly stated, “Remain calm, these missiles pose no threat to Americans for they can not penetrate our missile defense system.”
However, an anonymous high ranking official in the military questioned President Bush’s declaration stating, “In the past 6 months our Missile Defense System has failed 3 out of 6 tests. Most of these failures were caused by a breakdown of the Superior Hydrocarbon Integrated Targeting system which is supposed to guided the missile.”
The President’s message did not come a moment too soon as fearful Americans emptied supermarkets to stock their bomb shelters and basements and supplies. Many stores across the nation ended up being looted as the panicked people tried to stock up.
“I grabbed all the canned vegetables I could and ran out of the store hoping everyone would leave me alone,” stated John Tracy, a resident of San Francisco.
Stacy Hammerback was one of the 100 people known to be trampled in the chaos.
After President Bush made his speech much of the panic subsided in all cities to a degree that could be handled by police.
During the second part of his speech President Bush threatened North Korean President Jong as he continued to state, “Kim Jong we currently have missiles twice as powerful as yours and we will not hesitate to use them if we feel threatened.”
“A cold war between North Korea and America is likely to occur as a result of the explosion,” stated leading political analysis Laksmono Rosado. The cold war would not be unlike the one between the Soviet Union and America in the post World War 2 times.
Shealin Merrick, a military strategist was quoted stating, “The only response [to North Korea] is military action to completely destroy all currently existing missiles in opposing countries.
At the moment the world has stabilized yet it is still unknown how the world will react to North Korea though some form of war is predicted.
